Recovery Coaching Rooted in Lived Experience and Accountability

I have been a Recovery Coach, mentor, and support to individuals seeking a healthier, more grounded life since 2017. My work in addiction recovery and personal development has taken me into homeless shelters, treatment centres, prisons, coffee shops, church communities, 12-Step groups, and social service settings across Canada.

I place a high value on lived experience, healing, accountability, and compassion. These principles have shaped my approach and aligned me with meaningful work alongside people navigating substance use, behavioral challenges, justice involvement, and major life transitions.

I believe that safer communities, healthier relationships, and lasting recovery begin by working from the inside out. That means looking honestly at what’s in the way, while also strengthening what moves us toward becoming the best version of ourselves. My own life experience has taught me where judgment is necessary—and where it causes harm. I believe deeply in second chances, learning from mistakes, and turning setbacks into lessons that build a life we can stand behind.

Professional Focus: Certified Recovery Coach in Canada

As an Accredited Recovery Coach of Canada (ARCC), Canadian Certified Recovery Coach (CCRC), Recovery Coach Professional (RCP), and Recovery Coach Professional Facilitator (RCPF), I provide ethical, professional, and standards-based recovery coaching. My credentials reflect a strong commitment to accountability, integrity, and high-quality care.

I believe that lasting recovery is not about fixing people, but about helping clients access the strengths, insight, and internal resources they already possess. My role as a recovery coach is to walk alongside clients as they build self-efficacy, resilience, and clarity in their recovery journey.

Restorative Justice and Community Accountability

My work in Restorative Justice holds a special place in my heart. I have worked closely with individuals impacted by sexual harm, including both those who have caused harm and those who have been harmed, with the goal of creating safer communities rooted in accountability and responsibility.

This work has allowed me to witness people in their full humanity—beyond their mistakes, labels, and worst moments. The growth, honesty, and connection that emerge in these spaces continue to shape how I approach recovery coaching and community work.

Beyond the Work

Outside of coaching, I’m equal parts nerd, jock, and artist. I have a growing board game collection, a lifelong love of basketball as a former varsity athlete, and I enjoy creating abstract art using epoxy resin. These interests keep me grounded, curious, and connected to creativity—qualities I bring into my work with clients.
